We invite all of our dear guests and potential guests to join our monthly photo contest and to win fantastic prizes worth lots of money. The winner will be selected by our management and announced on our web sites.
Our guests are invited to vote on the monthly winners in the annual photo contest.
After each year we will award a grand winner. The winner will receive a special prize and be announced on our web sites.

We have 3 monthly categories:

Best picture in an Allseason Hotel.
A picture taken at one of our properties (ie Hotel Rangá, Hotel Highland, Hotel Skogar, Hrauneyjar Highland Center or Hotel Rangarsel). The picture can depict just about anything – as long as it is taken there.
Best picture at a South Iceland Site (Activity or Attraction).
A picture taken somewhere in South Iceland with a short descriptive text of area and photo specifications.
Best Aurora Borealis photo.
A picture taken – preferably but not necessarily in South Iceland – of the northern lights. A description of photo and technique is to be enclosed. We accept photos all year round for pictures taken during that years 12 month period preceding the photos origin – as it is during the summer months not possible to photograph these natural phenomenas.


Prizes are:

The Monthly Prize winner in each category is a gift certificate worth 15.000 ISK useable at all the Allseason Hotels. This Gift certificate can then be used in any of our hotels

Annual Prizes
Annual Grand Prize winner for Best picture of the Year All Categories is a Platinim Diamond gift certificate with champagne supplement at Hotel Rangá worth ISK 97.500. In addition to the Platinum Offer– a special South Iceland activity package worth 75.000 is included in the prize – making the prize worth 172,500 ISK.
Winner of each category (3 in total /see above categories/ – this excludes Grand Prize winner) in The Annual Competition receives a Diamond Offer Gift Certifiacate at Hotel Ranga with champagne supplement worth 59,900 ISK
Runner up (2nd place winner) in each each category in the annual competition receives a Gold Offer Gift Certificate at Hotel Ranga worth 37,900 ISK
2nd Runner up (3rd place winner) in each each category in the annual competition receives a Silver Offer Gift Certifiacate at Hotel Ranga worth 30,700 ISK


The Photo contest requirements are:

Each participant must mail us a digital photo with max 2 MB and minimum 300 kB admitted by midnight the last day of each month to participate in the following monthly contest.
Maximum number of photos per guest and month are a total of 10 photos.
You must write date and place the photos were taken and why you chose this or these photos.
You must include your name, address, email and nationality
You must write a short description of the photos
You must give each photo a title or name
It is the photographers sole responsibility to make sure each person on each photo have given their approval that the photos can be public and used by Allseason hotels.
The photographer confirms that by submitting their personal photosin this competition - that he or she is the owner and author of the photos and thereby automatically also confirms that the photos can be public and used by Allseason hotels for marketing purposes within the chain.
All of our guests can attend the photo contest. Non guests are welcome to submit photos as well. Hotel Staff is allowed to submit photos and compete – but should not immediately expect to win any prizes…
Chosen photos will be visible on a photogallery on the allseasonis website
The panel selecting the monthly & annual winners is to be

Vote on your favourite photo in our yearly photo contest.
50% of the vote is by determined by voters decision and 50% is by a chosen panel. The panel is chosen by a committee chosen by the management of Hotel Rangá. On the panel of 5 members – there will be one (1) member of the hotel, 2 professional photographers, one representative from the tourist industry and one Joker (a famous person/celebrity chosen by the hotel). Panel members cannot compete in contest. Panel will be chosen and posted on the webpage in October each year. Panels decision is in January each year for the prvios years photos.

Requirements are:

- Your vote must be mailed to us by the 31st of December.
- A short description why you voted for the photo
- Your name, address and nationality
